Services are scheduled Saturday at 11:00 a.m. at Sweet Home Baptist Church for Mary Kay Bolton, 76, Arkansas, who died February 19, 2024, at her residence.

Interment will be in Bolton Cemetery.

Mrs. Bolton was born on December 3, 1948, in Richton, MS to the late James W. and Marie Brown. She was the oldest child. Mary Kay accepted Christ at a young age while she was attending New Hope Baptist Church.

Mary Kay grew up in Richton with her three sisters. She graduated from Mattie Wayne Jones School. While a student, she was recognized three consecutive years as Ms Basketball. It while attending Prentiss Jr. College that Mary Kay met the love of her life, Haywood Bolton, Jr. and they later married in 1969. To this union were six children.
