Services are scheduled for 1:00 Friday at McLain COGIC for Larry Moody, 66, of McLain who died June 19, 2024, at UMC in Jackson.

Interment will be at Little Creek Cemetery in Beaumont.

Mr. Moody was a member of Mt. Gillard Baptist Church where he was the drummer. He retired from Camp Shelby after 19 years of faithful service.

Survivors include his children, Larry Moody of McLain, Shawodreka Travis of Petal, Sharon Moody of Waveland, Jennifer Moody of Hattiesburg and Arabiah Moody of McLaurin; siblings, Leonard Moody of Hattiesburg, Jerry Moody, Christine McLeod and Curtis Moody all of McLain, Loretta Carter of Hattiesburg, Charles Williams of Pascagoula and Patricia Riley of Long Beach; 16 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren.

Visitation will be from 11:00 until service time.
