Obituary For Janet Nicole Silas

Services are scheduled for 1:00 Saturday, March 16, at McLain COGIC for Janet Silas, 50, of McLain, who died March 2, 2024, at St. Joseph Hospice in Gulfport.

Dr. Reverend Donald Garrett will officiate.

Interment will be at Silas Cemetery.

Janet was a native of McLain, born on April 19, 1973, to Dan and Jennie Jones. She was a member of Sweetwater Methodist Church in Benndale.

Survivors include her parents, Jennie Jones, Dan Jones and Raymond Houlsen; son, La'Daniel T. Silas; sisters, Meredith Jones, Leonda Jones and Whitney Jones.

Visitation will be from 11:00 until service time at the church.
